June 3, 200323 yr Download Pete Dowsons "FSUIPC" and "WideFS". FSUIPC is a module to FS on your server computer. WideFS' "Wideclient" then installs on your laptop, and add-on programs (Such as Magenta) use it to interface with FS on the server.Since Magenta is a commercial program, it's probably got FSUIPC and WideFS bundled, but don't quote me on that.Richard
June 3, 200323 yr I am also using a laptop in my SimPit. I have not bothered going down the multi-computer / LAN / WideScreen route. Too expensive for me, and hardware is not my favorite thing (software is). Sure wish I could figure out a real easy and cheap solution for interfacing FS02 to multi-displays, guages, switches, the whole deal. I am using a homemade keyboard controller for the switches. My laptop drives it's LCD on the captain side, and also a monitor for the first officer.http://home.earthlink.net/~rschoolf/images/fs_last_sm.jpgMore:http://home.earthlink.net/~rschoolf/fs.htm- rps
