July 28, 200322 yr Hello all, After a long wait, the newest version of the Pro MFD 777 Collection is ready for downloading. The updates are too numerous to name here but some of the more notable upgrades include:-- APU simulation (including proper cooldown time and automatic AC/DC fuel pump switching)-- Completely realistic engine starts. AutoStart has been added step by step from the real aircraft. There are single keypresses for everything including the fuel control switches.-- Electrical page added with all electrical systems simulated (except backup generators). This includes IDGs, external power and APU Generator. All systems operate with the correct "priorities".-- Detailed manual now included explaining most of the systems and features. I hope everyone enjoys this new update. As usual, everything is free!Check it out at http://www.ProMFD.cjb.netOh... there is one update that is listed, but is not in the currently available download. I got the fuel flow for engine 2 to work on the EICAS display, but could not get it uploaded at work . I will try to upload it later this week.RobertPro MFD / The 777 Projecthttp://www.ProMFD.cjb.nethttp://www.777Project.cjb.net
July 28, 200322 yr Once again thanks Robert for your amazing software and for your time and effort... Any Failures or inflight emergencies any time soon) :)Take care dude.Roberto
July 29, 200322 yr I am certainly planning on adding failures/emergencies (known in the 777 as "abnormals".. lol). I just want to get the normal flight systems working since you'll be seeing those most of the time. Didn't want to straggle into failures when the bleed air display isn't even there yet :-lolRobert
July 31, 200322 yr Hi everyone, Just a note that the 777 Collection version 6a is available at http://www.FlightSim.com. Fuel Flow for engine 2 is now operable. I am still trying my best to figure out how to shade in the arcs on the EICAS page. I'm trying to use maybe floodfill, fillrgn, fillpoly or something. All the examples I've seen have been terrible.Roberthttp://www.ProMFD.cjb.net
August 12, 200322 yr Hi Vidar, Pro MFD is reverting back to the "Lite" / "Pro" system, which means the newest updates of the 777 Collection will no longer be free. Cost has not been set yet, but it will be once the software is made available again in the next month or so. The A320 and 747 instruments will follow soon.Regards,Robert
