Visibility Weirdness

Featured Replies

I was doing a night flight yesterday using real weather. I flew into an area with low visibility, and I noticed I could see the stars where the ground should be.Clear sky, Visibility 10 mileshttp://home.cablelynx.com/~jchaney/vis_night.jpg(its kind of hard to make out the stars in the shrunken image)Just now I was about to start a dawn flight with real weather. You can see the sun under the overcast layer.Overcast @ 4000, visibility 10 mileshttp://home.cablelynx.com/~jchaney/vis_day.jpgI played with the visibility settings, it seems setting visibility over 5 miles causes this. Anything under 5 I get a fog, like it should be. Is there a way to fix this?
