Logic says you can use either independantly, as a lot of other software and hardware whilst being pretty much compatible are generally on the whole self-sufficient. After all, FS200x is designed to run on its own but can also be beefed up with software addons etc than do not rely on other addons to work (well, the vast majority do!)The choice is pretty much up to you what combinations you use, PM stuff can be used without PSS stuff, and vice-versa. You're not limited to what you want to do. That way everyone's cockpit sim project will be unique which is part of the whole challenge!I'd say go whatever you feel comfortable with, but if two things are designed to accompany each other, use it if you wish. But bear in mind that if your wallet can't cope, don't worry about it and press on ahead :) Some of us can't afford such luxuries as a complete cockpit! (and 'yah boo sucks you gits' to those who can!)
