December 13, 200322 yr Les,Spruce has a good selection of throttle controls listed in the print catalog. They are the whole assembly, knob, shaft and control cable. More expensive than just the knob ($40~60) but perhaps worth it for the realism.I could not find any worthwhile info about them on their site. It might be necessary to get a copy of the print catalog and look at the pictures to determine if the product is what you want. They are listed in the airframe parts section under the "throttles - controls" section. The controls are made by ACS Products. The ACS site isn't much more helpful than the Spruce site. It has only one of the throttle products illustrated ( http://www.acs-products.com/p_c_a790.htm ). Spruce has three or four pages of control products.Mikewww.mikesflightdeck.com
December 14, 200322 yr Author Mike,Thanks, yes i found them on Wicks aicraft, they had a basic picture.Your imfo was most helepful, now i know what the silver thing is in the middle of the knob.A button to enable disable fine adjustment. All i have got to do now is convince myself that the cost is justified.I paid $50 for the real ignition switch,so whats another 150 eh.Les
December 14, 200322 yr Try ebay. I got a throttle for $30, a mixture control for $45. Still looking for a prop control. Whoops, I should have waited until I got the prop control before posting this :DMike
