Conrad rotarie problem with FSbus version 208

Featured Replies

Hi There seems to be a problem with the newest software and the conrad rotaries. There is only one rotarie active, all the others are recognised but doesn't work. When I install the the previous version every thing works fine.Any ideas???Kind regards Jan.

Hi Jan,Im using the the Conrad option(Bournes rotary to REDEC09),and everything is fine. What are you using to decode the Rotary?.Does the key test indicator show both directions for the rotary working correctly.Les

Hi Les,I'm using the redec as well, all works fine till I installed the newest version 208.I'm sure it is a software problem.Did you installed version 208? And your rotary's working fine?Kind regards JAn

Hi Jan,Yes i am using the latest version.Just built a second one and it works fine also.Just make sure you clear out all of the last versions.I usually just use add/remove programs from Control Panel. In the Router section, can you still see the value changing.Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling.Good LuckLes

Hi Les,Yes,I remove all the previous versions.Installed version 208 only but there is only one rotary at work.GRRRRRRRRRRRR.Jan.

I can confirm that.Tempo solution IF YOU USE A ShiftPulse rotary encoder AND REDEC :Set the rotary type to 'ALPS' in the FSBUS setup (VALID ONLY for 2.08).But, there is a con. Values are multiplied by 2!I will be sending detailed problem information to Dirk (hopefully tonight) and I am confident he will address the issue soon. However, v2.08 includes some very nice enhancements.George DorkofikisAthens, Greece
