December 29, 200322 yr Hi to all:I try assign a swicht in FSbus router. The swicht is to FD(flight director),but I'm surprise because FSbus router in the PM Airbus assignements have 2 assigns for two swichts (FDON and FDOFF).I try assign theses two assignements in just one swicht but the swicht give me the last assignement. Can everyone tell me the method to assign theses kind off swicthes with 2 assignements?
December 29, 200322 yr Hello there!I think the solution would be to use a two-in-one switch to be assigned to the two functions. Switch in the up position would be assigned to the FDON offset, and the switch in the down position to the FDOFF.These switches are like two on-off switches built into one, with a common pin, and a separate pin for each of the other positions.Did it help?
December 29, 200322 yr Hi:Thanks for your help but my swicht to the FD can not be changed. It is a swicht with led
December 29, 200322 yr Only thing I can think of is relays....For this you need a 5 point relay, with the main power feed, earth, input feed and 2 outut feeds. With the main feed you're supplying power to the two output feeds, but only one at a time. These will be outputs 1 and 2. With no power to the feed on, the main power will supply power to output 1. With power to the feed in, the relay will switch from output 1 to output 2, and revert to output 1 when the feed is disconnected. This way the output 1 will send the signal when the switch is off, and output 2 will send the signal when the switch is on. The switch is connected to the feed thus allowing the switchover.Hope this helps!
December 29, 200322 yr Sounds strange that a software program would be written specifically for using a double throw toggle switch when a normal pushbutton switch would be fine. PM F/D is F. Are you sure there in no where in fsbus that will let you assign a single letter to F/D as this just doesnt sound right. If not maybe you should get yourself a cheap keyboard encoder and go thru PM directly.Hope you find a fix soonGary
