FS DISPLAY CC or FS DISPLAY CA

Featured Replies

Hello there,Just one questionI would like to make FSBUS with 1 FS Key borad and 6 Display for the radios. In the Flash menu, do i choose Display CC or display CA????I use 5 digits to display the valur of NAV1, NAV2 and COM1Hope to have a answer of anyone quicly..... :-))))))See you soon.OO-PDU

I used common cathode and it worked fine

If you have an option for both then you must choose for the display you have already. If you dont have any displays yet then you can make your choice based on the availability of displays in your area, style etc. The only difference between CA and CC is the polarity and either works well.CheersGaz

Thanks for the quick reply :-)Can you confirm for the CID: if u put CID=1 for FSKEY, CID=2 for display(nav1) CID=3 for dsiplay(nav2).... this configuation can works?Regards.OO-PDU

Yes it will work but the FSKEY can only be flashed with CID = 1,2,3but it's better to reserve 1,2,3 for KEY, 4,5,6 for Potentiometer and use the rest 7-31 for LED, Display, other outputsSo if you want later put a second key, you'll have the CID 2,3free for it :-)The restriction for CID number is only for inputs (KEY,ANALOGIC)You can use every CID for outputs (DO, LED, DISPL, SERVO, STEPPER)Hope you've the reply to your answerBOB
