Hello all, My name is Robert Prather, I used to use these forums until I lost my password. I have been building a 777 for a while now and have made some fair progress. I just wanted to upload some pics of my progress so far. WELCOME BACK Cousin, I've been wondering about you....Robert, few weeks ago I watched the movie called "Homeland Security". and that part where the f16 flies adead of the plane, instructing pilot to land immediately. At he camera angle view, inside the cockpit I could tell it was the homebild cockpit and I pronanlly identify yours. since I remember you metioned that you gave away yor cockpit based on contract with TV/movie people. Are you gonna rebuild the whole cockpit all over aagin??It's good to have you back on this forum. *slapping high five

Hi RobertWhat happened to the real cockpitparts (I assume) in th efirst 3 pics?I do not see them in the complete setup in the last pic.RegardsNorbert

>Hi Robert>>What happened to the real cockpitparts (I assume) in th efirst>3 pics?>>I do not see them in the complete setup in the last pic.I have only visited the full sim like once or twice this year. I am currently collecting all the parts and assembling them, then I will add them to the old setup. When Kev Saker and the fellas visited, we test fitted one rack with the setup and were quite pleased.I REALLY want to get the overhead structure in place this summer!Roberthttp://www.The777Project.com

You are too funny!"lost my password"....likely story! You probably have a full sized 777 AIRPLANE built by now and just didn't want anyone to bother you!Welcome back!(Will we see you in Denver?)

But I did loose my password!I hope to see everyone in Denver! I'll be the guy with the floor length fur coat and platform "aquarium" shoes on (bringin' back the good ole 70's!)RobertP.S. - Been in the shop too long!! Are bell bottoms still popular amongst the youngens?

I built a seperate setup for them using my original parts, and I have replaced all my old stuff. This is my 4th itteration of the 777 (1-wood, 2-laminate, 3-plastic). Now I am removing ALL the simulated stuff and using all real parts (where available). Still waiting on a few remakes to fill in spaces though.P.S. Anyone who wants a 777 CDU, I can now get them for $8,000!!!>It's good to have you back on this forum. *slapping high fiveThanks cuz! Gotta represent the family name.. LOL!You wearin' 70's gear to the AVSIM conference too?Robert
