Ready for takeoff - MCP/EFIS/EICAS

Featured Replies

HiI am in the stages of planning a home jet cockpit Im not after complete realism but I would like to keep it tidy and close to modern Boeing design. I am currently looking for a glare package similar to a 747 or 777.e.g. EFIS - MCP - EICAS - EFISI like the Aerosoft package but the MCP is no longer available. I was considering just using GoFlight panels or connecting them to CSI panels but that might become too much trouble. I just want a simple plug n play unit. Like I said Im after a the design of a 747 or 777 it dosnt have to be identical to its real-life counterpart but preferably in the Boeing brown. I cant find any that suits, when it comes to panels and switches there loads of choice but when it comes to ready packages this communities choice is very small.Any suggestionsThanks in advanceScott

Unfortunately that aerosoft product was the only one of its kind for the Boeing heavies. The only other plug and play device is for the 737 and there is 2 companies making that one. PFC and Cpflight is the name of the other company I think.Buying panels, interfacing and wiring up the encoders displays and switches yourself is alot easier than it looks. Most interfaces now have the software written so that once you plug the thing in you just tell it what its for in a ready made menu and away you go.Gary
