What is this?Did you try to kill us all?Posting such pics without a word????I know i know, you just wanted us to ask :)Where are these panels from? What backlight did you use?How much did you pay?Where can i buy?

Probably just went inside a real cockpit, and took those pictures there... can't be a real home-made sim!

>Probably just went inside a real cockpit, and took those>pictures there... can't be a real home-made sim! Can't be a real sim/airplane: the 7seg displays are the normally available ones: slightly skewed to the right and with decimal point for every unit. Also many knobs are not exact, most notably those of the EFIS panels...Got it: PeterCos maiden :)Isn't it?

>Got it: PeterCos maiden :)>Isn't it?I think it's Perchas made - he's shown some amazing looking stuff every now and then, and he at least did make some panels of very good quality in the past.//Tuomas

Hi These panels, are not of Peter Coss, no of any commercial airplane, have been made by my. Technique by internal reflection. Panel back-light of the finished MCP, fulfills all the norms aeronautical. The color is the original gray of Boeing with three components of composite, to paint the screws, plates, MIP etc. I have used color RAL7011, is but the similar of Boeing. Cut and engraved by Laser, all the other different systems that I have proven (and they have been all) were very deficient, expensive and laborious, Conclusion: this he is the best one and more cheap of the systems. We have made a great jump in the homemade simulators, difficult to surpass. They can visit my unfinished page, at the moment is in Spanish, create if I say that it costs to me more to make the paginas Web that the panels.http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/ka...tronicamia.htmlSaludosRafaelhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/99958.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/99959.jpg

I still have the whole NG mcp in photoshop, ready to export. The least i have been offered to professionaly engrave all the MCP + 2 efis is 220

Hi Rafael,Just visit your website, brilliant panels you got!!! Do you make the FSBUS circuit panels yourself?www.alkit.nethttp://alkit.fotopic.net

Hi all,The panels have a very complex process of manufacture: 1) Development in Corel the panels, the round orifices will have to be but small, later they rectify themselves with a reel to leave them to his exact measurement, the rectangular cuts will have to be a little greater than the size of the digits of seven segments, because the adjustments of the machines laser usually make the orifices great times but and other but small ones. 2) cut the meth-acrylate by laser. 3) Rectify the orifices of the seats of the screws, switches toggle, reduces of the later panel. 4) Painting a heavy white painting layer, to paint a fine layer of the definitive color. 5) To return to rectify the later part, to make with a drill of 6 mm the blind orifices to a depth of 4 mm for the lodging of diodes LED of Illumination. The Printed Circuit Board has been made by my, is for FSBUS, is very easy the programming. The problem is that the previous and later work of the rectified one of the orifices I have it to make, the one that cuts them and records only does this. I have had many requests of these PCB and panels, but I do not have long time to make works to the others, in a next future I will contact with some person who makes east work, perhaps but complex that the own one to cut and to record. To add to this the complex work to make to rotary encoders to make them concentric for the radios. In addition a problem has arisen, due to the FSUIPC, when you place the switch number 193 (4 FSkey) the PM becomes enormously slow, for that reason I must modify the PCB of illumination that has two FSKEY and to rationalize better the use of these, because as you already know, rotary Knitter is necessary to assign them to the RB0 and to the RB1 of each group of inputs of Microcontroler PIC16F84. When it is at readiness to offer the PCB

How much did it cost to have those panels created?Do the companies that made it have an online store, so we could have our own panels made there?

HiMy friend is professionally dedicated to manufacturing panels for Boeing, Nato, Eurofighter, etc. Example:He sells a small radio panel for 1,000 Euros with TSO certificate. He has done me a great favour, and is gonna make one at a symbolic price of 245

Ok, so here it is where it comes down: you payed 1.6 the price of the FDS solution! Now i am able to do this too and without friends: just by going to engraving shops.I was just looking for cheaper solutions: why should i bother if i can buy for less?

Claudio,Rafaels panels are not comparable with FDS products in any way. Dakensky comes closer but since they are not yet manufacturing B737 panels I cant compare. That quality is unfortunately for us not available commercialy.Rafael did a smart choice in my opinion and also had a lot of work to do. He also is a lucky man since I personally do not have a friend making panels for Boeing. He made it and we are all here amazed about the result, that's what count finally. Rafael, congratulations!! Ciao, SaludosRoger

>Claudio,>>Rafaels panels are not comparable with FDS products in any>way. Dakensky comes closer but since they are not yet>manufacturing B737 panels I cant compare. That quality is>unfortunately for us not available commercialy.Roger, I think that can be said for the "NOVA" FDS stuff, but it looks that with the "Elite" stuff, Peter Cos has finally got it pretty close to perfect, those panels with his own molded button caps are looking really good. Not cheap, yeah, but those elite panels probably start to be what he originally had in mind.We have come a long way in a few years when you look at the quality of various panels offered by different people - and also stuff made by individuals is more and more impressive..//Tuomas

Would you consider building another onefor sale?Google Translation:apesadumbrado para este email en ingl
