April 30, 200521 yr I have just made the first test flight with my Viggen cockpit, a 22mb video is available at: http://i3dteam.com/ftp/jamal/viggen/previe...lator-hires.mpg
May 1, 200521 yr Thanks, I feel lucky. The projector is an ACER PD523, it's a DLP type with native 1024x768 resolution. Very quiet, 2400 ansi lumens and 2000:1 contrast. I bought it a month ago for about 130 Euro.
May 2, 200521 yr Hehe, yes I mean 1300 Euro.Screen size is 180x180cm on the test setup. When I build the frame for the visuals the screen will be 200x160cm. Screen is 1 meter from viewer, so you can see pixels on the picture, but I prefer it in advantage of the large screen where you get much more feeling of flying.
May 2, 200521 yr Maybe the next video closer of the inside of the cockpit so we can see the panel and your hands on the sticks during the loopings ...BOB
May 2, 200521 yr yeah perhaps he was just using the trim switches like Alkit http://www.atcbox.com/modules/Forums/image...s/icon_razz.gif http://www.atcbox.com/modules/Forums/image...es/icon_lol.gif
May 3, 200521 yr Why? Dont you guys think I'm flying my sim?Next video will be longer, include more from the cockpit. The first movie was only to show the visual system.I'm currently working on the hydraulic dampening system on the flight controls, as soon as it's ready I'll make another movie.
