Horrible and big square texture size in my scenery

Featured Replies

Hello,I don't understand why it happened:I've been used Toni Agramont's Spain scenery since many days (every thing was OK), when last day after FS2K2 crashed as I was in Barcelona airport, all my beautiful textures had disapeared ! Since there is only big and horrible green and brown square texture ! :'( :'(I desactivated this scenery and it changed nothing. This trouble only seems to occure in north-east spain area (Catalunia).Thank you for your help.Thierry

If you have installed a LandClass file into it's own Scenery folder, make sure you don't have an empty Texture folder alongside it - delete the empty folder if you do.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Hello Tom,Thank you for your help. But I'm not sure to understand correctly : I still have the same texture problem even if I desactivate Spain scenery, ie if I use default scenery. So could you explain me what effets Landclass can have on it ? :-hmmmThank you again. :-)Thierry

If you haven't installed a separate Land Class file (usually listed as that), then that's not your problem. One more thing - try going to Options/Settings/Display and make sure that looks OK (like 3D acceleration is still turned on, the correct card is listed, etc.). If this is still OK, an uninstall and reinstall is all I know to do...Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Tom,I haven't installed any Land class file except adding special textures for this scenery. But what I really don't understand is why I have just this same horrible big textures for only this part of this big scenery, and even after desactivating it from scenery library ???Thierry

My best guesses: that scenery installation might have changed something in your main FS SCENERY or TEXTURE folders, or the crash corrupted a file in one of those folders.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
