Need help with multiple monitor set-up programming

Featured Replies

Hello,I'm currently building a VCPT of a 737 with one computer and 4 monitors. I use a PCI express video card, dual output plus a Matrox G450 dual output too.My question goes to the start, because I've never been able (Except with 734 from Dreamfleet) to start flight sim with the undocked windows -such as the overhead, radio stack, cdu etc.- in the position I want. Sometimes the throttle does.Any help here, or the only chance is a macro?Using 737-700 PMDG.Best Regards, Roderick Woolvett

The rule is to place the windows in undock mode then to dock them and to save the flight as a default flight. When you restart you must be in dock mode with the windows in the good positions ...BOB

Hi Roderick,One thing about FS9 and placement of panels on multimonitors, its not as easy as fs2002.From my experience you have to be in windowed mode and then place your panels on these monitors. You must save these while in windowed mode.Dont despair if you find they go back to main display in full screen mode.Just repeat the process again and you will be successful. It sometimes can be a pain. But once there they will stay. The next part is important. If you want these panels to appear in the extra monitors the next time you enter FS9,you must exit fs in windowed mode.If you dont then all you hav eto do is go to windowed mode and rest flight. As you can see it is a pain. The easy fix to this is run in Windowed mode.thats what i eneded up doing and find everything great.Hope this helps, just ask if you need any more helpRgdsles
