September 10, 200520 yr Hi,I have been building my 767 overhead utilising Nico's fantastic FSCONV.I am now playing with FSLCD and some of the variables.I have gotten the IRS unit setup with a 1x40 display that shows IRS lat and long, Wind speed and direction, etcI noticed on Nico's website that he switches between the Fuel and Wx displays on his LCD's via a switch on his glare.Any ideas on how to do this? I can't seem to figure it out.I am also trying to get the Duct pressure to display on a LCD (servo's and dial would be a little too hard - for now).I haven't been able to find any offsets from FSUIPC oir anywhere else.Am i missing something or are these variables not available to calculate, etc?Cheers fellow flyers.Good-dayChris G
September 11, 200520 yr Hi ChrisCan help out with the Duct Pressure Offsets.....check on page 8 of Nico's FSCONV Version 2.24 manual....you will see 050D for Left Pneumatic Pressure, 0510 for Right and 0511 for APU.Have just ordered an LCD module....wondering if you could send me your FSLCD ini files that display the IRS data. Haven't played with these yet so can't assist you with the switching of data question.
September 12, 200520 yr Hi Ian,I have sent you my Fsinterface and lcdinterface file.I spent all weekend trying to get the pressure to work and nothing. This morning i spent about 5 minutes on it, and it works.Must have been too much wine on friday night. :)I have decided to go with a 2x16 Text LCD display instead of the gauge - for simplicity, and seems to work pretty darn well.I am also trying to get the cabin and fuel temperatures, but i don't think they are available in FSUIPC, have you have any luck with these values? Thanks.
September 13, 200520 yr Hi ChrisNo fuel temp and cabin temp haven't been supplied in the SDK as far as I know.Have replied to your email
September 13, 200520 yr Thanks Ian,I haven't received your mail. Can you confirm it went through successfully?also:I have been looking and it seems that pretty much the whole overhead is now available with SP2 SDK (well, the lights, etc).Except for Fuel Jettison. I wonder why its the only 'operational' switch not functional (not too fussed about cargo heat, etc)?????This just keeps costing me more and more while getting more fun :)Chris G
September 13, 200520 yr Hi ChrisI dont know if you have resolved the page switching for FSlcd. There are two offsets that you write to,the first is for LCD 0and the second is for LCD 1.You write a value of 0 to 254.You can have 255 pages per display.I have used just two pages and set a joystick but to switch.Nico has the two offsets listed in the section referring to his panels using FSLCD.If you cant find them let me know and i will hunt them out.RgdsLes
September 13, 200520 yr Hi Les,Cool.I found the offsets:0046"R_LCD0"0146"$6620"0246"1"0047"R_LCD1"0147"$6621"0247"1"from Nico's IOCards file.It seems that each offset is for one LCD, and to switch between the displays. If I use a toggle, I can switch between 2 displays. With a rotary, i have assigned each pole to send the offset at Bit 01. (the only one that seems to work). But the results are not very predicatable. It seems to jump a few pages. Thanks for the help Les.CheersChris
