September 23, 200520 yr I just got a email from Robert. Some of you know, the last hurricane that hit Houston wiped out most of Roberts Sim. I know he had to start all over.Robert wanted to send this message to you all: "I am across town with my family members, since the biggest problem with the last hurricane was I got separated from my family. I swam through 6 ft. waters, in the street, during that storm. So I don't fear this one. But I know a monster is headed out way. This may well be one of my last correspondences before the storm hits."I wish you all the luck Robert, please take care of yourself and family.
September 24, 200520 yr Wish he and his family and also his 777 will be fine! Good luck!BTW How's Rita now? Getting weaker yet?Our news didn't mention much about the hurricane but the bus accident (old people) last night.www.alkit.net
September 24, 200520 yr Wishing you, Robert, your family and all who have been hit (or most probably will be hit next hours) all the best and all luck on earth!!!!Best from ViennaHans G. September 24, 200520 yr This is horrible !First of all I'm glad Robert is OK. Dito for his family. There were many times before during past weeks that I had been wondering if no cockpit-builder was affected by this storm. I was rather happy to hear that it were only 2 people that didn't get something they ordered via mail. That is bad news for them but is relative much better to what I was fearing most. And now it turns out that not only one of our comunity was hit .. even worse .. one of the nicest sims seem to have gone lost.Robert, I wish you a lot of strength ! I feel very bad for you and I hope you & your family manage to get trough all this.I want to say that I hope you can recover most of your sim material but I doubt that is at this moment much of an issue to you as probably if your house is flooded (wasn't it your house that had been flooded before ?? or was that someone else ?) there will be lots more things to worry about than the sim. And if the water is still there the house itself will maybe be un-repairably damaged.Wish you strength,Philippe Vanagt
September 24, 200520 yr Oh no, NOT AGAIN.... Robert lost his sim by flood in 2001... check it outhttp://www.777project.cjb.net/ When front page pull up... go into reports section and click on "The Great Flood". I live about 2 to 3 hours west from Houston. . Hurricane/storm Rita is on the way to my area as of now. weather man on news say it has reduced to category 1 where it's gonna be heavly rain and approx 75 mph wind, possibility flood occur in my area. I just Hope it wouldn't be as bad as I thought. I hope storm doesn't produce flood or wipe out my area.Robert, I am very sorry about loss, I do hope you and family are alright. That's the main thing I am conerned. Hope you guys find eachother and be together again. Don't worry about your sim, you are gonna build it again anyway, and this time, build a hurricane/storm proof sim. Keep your head up my main man.
September 25, 200520 yr All my best to you and your family, Arthur!!Best from ViennaHans G. SchuetzProject777---------------------------------------http://www.project777.com[email protected](LOWW - Vienna)

September 29, 200520 yr I sincerely appreciate the words of concern from everybody, and to my friends for keeping everyone informed of my status while I was out of communication. Fortunately, I didn't have any damage, just a bunch of pine needles to clean up. I'm very thankful that all was safe here. Now I'm putting my house back together and gearing up to work on my sim again. I am really excited that I can know work on my sim the way I want to! Here is a pic of the sim in it's new room. This is a rare pic of the the sim broken down for the storm. The whole thing is easy to dismantle and move.http://www.t-b-x.com/prather/777project/Ne...mbrokendown.JPGThanks again for everybody's support!Roberthttp://777simulator.comhttp://PratherCreations.com
