The same connectors your PC's motherboard has for the cables from your PC frontpanel buttons and leds.Search mouser.com for example. "Harwin crimp connector" might be what it is.//Tuomas

November 3, 200520 yr Author Ok, all of you out there that are using the USBaxis cards, from open cockpits. How do you calibrate the 5th axis?. and how do you get the axis to work? I have spent a lot of time ,and effort building a twin engine quadrant. two throttles, two props and two mixture controls. I purchased two USBaxis cards so I culd get the six axis I required. I can get the cards to work but all I get on the aircraft controls. is a very small movement. I canot get full power on anything. I am using 100k pots, on all of the controls,I have even hooked up and tried a pot from my logitek joy stick. I have read reports on the forums from others that these cards are the cats meow. OK lets start meowing. Thanks for your help, i need it.

You need 10K pots, not the 100K ones you say you are using. Think this might be your problem.Simonaka The Porcupinewww.desktopflying.co.uk (site currently down because I am having a sulk over my lack of skills)Very slowely putting together a generic twin desktop unit.

I will>get a10k tomorrow and see if it works. will let you know.100K works fine. The problem is not that. The problem is, whenever you stick in a NEW joystick to Windows, when FS2004 sees it, it will give it the DEFAULT controls settings - X-axis will be ailerons, Y-axis will be elevator, Z-axis will be rudder, then ext one will be throttle etcetera.PLUS the sensitivity will be low with a HUGE null-zone.This is why you cannot "get it to work". Go to Settings -> Assignments and remove all the wrong stuff from the joystick (remember to choose the correct device from the pulldown widget) and also to to Sensitivities setting and make all SENSITIVITY sliders to MAX and null-zones to ZERO.//Tuomas
