I have not used the forums for some time. when I tried to sign in with the user name and password from my confirmatin email I get the message that I had the wrong user name. I registered again today but inadvertantely mispelled my user name. How can I correct it.

Titus, the username is the one thing that is not changeable. The easiest way to handle that is to remove the acocunt and let you register again. That is what I have done. So try registering for an account again with the correct username. Let me know if you have any problems.
