A Knitter switch is not a rotary encoder. It's a two way switch that opens and closes one set of contacts as it is turned in one direction, and opens and closes another set as it is turned in the other direction.The heading up/down, obs up/down, Kohlsmann, radio frequencies, etc, in my Cessna pit are all controlled by Knitters, connected through a Beta Innovations card, using Leo's Keyboard Studio software.Richard
