Does anyone at AVSIM watch TechTV? The show "The Screensavers"? It would be great to invite them to the AVSIM conference. Their studio/office is in San Francisco and they are owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. They could give our beloved hobby fantastic international TV exposure! Please contact them at www.TechTV.com or at www.TheScreensavers.com. Maybe they could even devote an entire week to flight simulation (wishful thinking); showing homemade cockpits, Aerosoft and GoFlight hardware, VATSIM, DreamFleet, interviews with the folks behind AVSIM & FS2002... all kinds of stuff. Something tells me that Leo, Pat, and the 'gang' wouldn't be too interested in a conference devoted to computer flight simulation. Comdex, E3, and 'The Webbys' are a big deal because they concern all of computer gadgetry. I doubt that many people over at Tech TV are very interested in this particular sect of computer gaming. It would be nice though if some coverage was provided...
