July 20, 200619 yr Yes,I am hooked on flight simming, and making a flight deck.Unfortunately, I do not have much of a budget $$.Here is my first throttle quadrant made out of a napkin dispensor I saw at my workplace. (see attachment)( you should have seen the look on my co-workers faces as I picked this thing up and looked it during lunch).Anyways, it is close to being fully functional, just have to wire 3 more switches up. Thought you guys would get a good laugh out of it.Polmer
July 21, 200619 yr Hey Polmer, how are you? How is going with your ATR72 cockpit? I was sending you the ATR72 PFD (beta) but a virus "hit" my computer so I had to reinstall everything....while copying a backup back to the new installation, the hard drive where I've saved everything broke down so I lost 40% of my projects....fortunately the ATR72 glass cockpit is safe !Let me know if you are still interested with my glass cockpit so I could send you the PFD to test.Regards,Bob
July 21, 200619 yr Bob,Sorry to hear about the virus (that stinks).Yes, I am very interested in any ATR guages, PFD's, etc.You like my napkin holder throttle quadrant?Hey, at least its better than using a keyboard.......lolKeep up the good work Roberto,Polmer
July 22, 200619 yr Well Polmer...you are in a more advanced stage of building than me at least eheh I just have a piece of paper with some switch and LED connected through an IOCard of OpenCockpits.I hope I will be able to make the display I bought from Ebay working since it's not an easy thing according to what I've read in some discussion forums over the net.I will let you know.Regards,Bob
