But it's pretty obvious, that if your plane has electric trim switch on the yoke/stick, that'll be the one you will be using, as long as it works :)It's so handy.//T
November 19, 200619 yr Hello,Turbo prop fan here as well. *Cheer*I also would like to start working on a turbo prop but have to decide what software package I am going to build it off of. I love the Flight1 ATR72-500 but was very dissapointed to find out that it is poorly designed for cockpit builders ( no offsets, etc.Can I ask what you guys plan on using?1. Aircraft type 2. Aircraft software? ( freeware, or payware)3. Primary flight display? Project magenta, Free-FD, etc?I would also like to use a FMC ( like the ATR), but the only software available for networking I have seen is the P8R Alpha, which requires mouse clicks. Polmer
November 19, 200619 yr Hi,well, I`ve started this thread, and as you can see, I have chosen the Dash8.I will be using Project Magenta RJ software, together with their MCP and FMC package. This way I have an environment with full FMC-simulation etc.Although it
November 19, 200619 yr Well...as for the ATR I developed a specific freeware glass cockpit downladable from AVSIM with engine panel, altimeter, variometer, speedometer, PFD and EHSI (those last two are not yet completed).PFD and EHSI don't have all the functions of the real instruments, but if someone doesn't care about FMC (like me) they might be a cheap solution. All the set is provided with a Client/Server program for all those who don't have WideFS.Regards,Bob
