Just wondering what would cause a control surface to spike? for example when I begin a aileron turn to the right or left I can see the control surface jump real quick then stablize.I was thinking of dirty pots in the yoke it never used to do this before. The yoke is a usb ch yoke about 5yrs old. Thanks Dave

if you can, try to measure the whole resistance (from 0 to the max value, turning the pot slowly) with a multimeter and check if the resistance value "jumps" somewhere while turning the pot.If so then probably oxide formed on the resistor's surface...to remove it you can try with a de-oxidant spray or (better) replace the pot.Regards and Merry Xmas,Bob
