August 27, 200223 yr Would someone explain to me in "dummy" (me) language how you install third party voice packs into the program EditVoicePacks? For some reason I don't understand the authors instructions and can't get it to work. Thanks,Mike
August 28, 200223 yr When editvoicepack is running on the upper toolbar click "file", then click import. Then open your voicepack you want to add. Next step is also in the "file" dropdown on the toolbar, click update voicepack. Lastly in the "tools" dropdown on the toolbar click update airline.cfg file.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/images/675-2fs.jpg

August 29, 200223 yr Cool, the www.centerseat.net is the best seat on the plane. Sometimes I wish would have gone aircrew.:-outtahttp://publish.hometown.aol.com/p3superb/images/675-2fs.jpg
August 29, 200223 yr Just to clarify:You should load your main voicepack file (for example sample.vcpmod BEFORE using the import function). After updating the voicepack, the default sounds and the sounds loaded into EditVoicepack when running the update will be available. Any previous updates not loaded into EditVoicepack when updating will be lost.Yes, I know it's not userfriendly, but it had to be done that way. The next version will technically work the same, however as it loads the "main" vcpmod file automatically you won't notice it.And another thing: Updating airlines.cfg is in no way necessary. It is only needed if you want your own plane to have a different callsign than it has defined in aircraft.cfg. Personally I use a completely empty airlines.cfg file.
