March 28, 200719 yr Hi!I am intented to build a diy simulator of crj 700 but i have some problems the first and most important is that i don't have any panel layouts the exact dimentions of the cockpit, blueprints generaly anything that can help me to make the designs anyone can help me please?
March 29, 200719 yr If your goal is to build a type that none (or little) others are building (like me with my Fokker 50) the best way to go to get panel dimensions are these:1) Contact the manufacturer and kindly ask for some details (be specific! and don't ask loads .. they don't have time in general to look up the right documents ..)2) Try to lokate or get in contact with a real pilot flying your bird. Ask him to take a few (detail) pictures every now & then. Using the basic dimensions you get from the 1st, you can compare and aproximate the other dimensions. A great clue is that most panels (if I'm not mistaken) are 144mm wide. Once I figured the with for the panels out for my plane, good "top-down" pictures of most panels got me VERY far using a photoshop-type program. Trim the panel you want data about, resize it to a multitude of 144 pixels with and then you can just read the height etc.
March 29, 200719 yr I have found anoter builder that have some dimentions but i don't know how to use them i contact him but he did not replied anyone know him? His web page : http://www.crj700projekt.de/And remember that iam a newbe the only think that can help me is my knolege in electronics.
March 29, 200719 yr I found these at the bottom of http://www.crj700projekt.de/bilder.htmlWhat do you mean with "i don't know how to use them" ?
