TrippleHead2go and LCD Projectors

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm trying to determine the best display set-up for my sim (Level-D B767). I intend to purchase a TH2GO unit to drive 3 external displays however I'm not sure if I should try and use my existing LCD projector plus purchase 2 more, OR should I buy 3 x LCD screens?I understand that the TH2GO will divide the external view into 3 x 1280x1024 screens, but does that mean I can use my LCD projector if it is capable of displaying 1280x1024 through set-up menus, or do you need a special projector? If I can use my projector, I can find another 2 which will complete the externals, plus I intend to run a 19" LCD for main instrument panel. If I need to go the LCD monitor route, is 19" the accepted standard here? Seems that a single 19" for the forward view seems a bit small, especially for a B767. Can you run 2 x 19" monitors side by side for the centre view and one on each side for the left/right forward view? To me that would seem a big enough forward view but not sure how to achieve this. Any suggestions ?Cheers.Nick

Thanks for the great link Gary.I think I'm better off building one of those "Bugeye" units which use 3 x enclosed LCDs with Freznel lens. I'll look into it again once stage one is completed.Cheers,Nick
