I was messing around in the Caravan today and accidentally hit the spoiler key. Am I the only one that didn't know about this?

I asked my father about this who flies a Caravan for a UPS sub out of Chicago, (I'm 36 btw). He said the caravan does have spoilers, but they act as spoilerons to aid in banking, not in reducing overall lift, for slowing down or dumping altitude quickly. You can not activate both at the same time in real life.
