SimNASA Apollo Program Off To A Great Start!

Tuesday, August 6, 2002 restarted space flights for SimNASA. The beginning of the Apollo 7 countdown was showing a few minor problems that some of which could have become major, communications problems existed but was cleared along with a few other minor problems. The major concern was dark clouds nearing the launch pad along with a civilian aircraft close to the restricted zone, but shortly after 0000UT(20000EDT) Apollo 7 was given a go for launch from the MCC and promptly after Aloha(the Command Module name for Apollo 7) lifted off the pad.After launch everything went perfectly. CSMP Drew Hosick placed Aloha in near perfect orbit, within 1km of the predetermined
