December 29, 200223 yr Merry Christmas to all. My question - Is there a national convention and or exposition for Flight Sim enthusiasts in the US. I am not a dealer or professional, but I would like to see first hand products, software, hardware, gagets, etc. that are on the market. If so where and when. Is it annual? Is is always in the same locale?
December 29, 200223 yr Rolf, AVSIM has an annual convention now. We had our first official convention last year at Reno, NV. Next year's convention will be held in September at Reading, PA at the MAAM museum. You can keep up with the latest announcements in the conference forum here:http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...&conf=DCConfID1Also, while not specifically a flightsim conference, AirVenture is a good place to visit. It is held each year in the last week of July in Oshkosh, WI. Most everyone involved in aviation is familiar with this one. There are some flightsim companies here.Microwings used to have an annual convention, but that is no more. As far as I know, AVSIM is the only group that does a flightsim conference now.
