Missing Information - Map View/Facility Info

Featured Replies

I can no longer obtain the subject info for any airport by accessing Map View. The airport name appears but nothing else. I am using FS2002 and Windows XP. My most recent addition was fsuipc 2.90. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Chuck(CYOW)

I just checked and my Map View information works using FSUIPC 2.90, WinXP, FS2002. If you think you are having a problem with FSUIPC, remove it and its associated *.ini to a temporary folder on your harddrive, restart fs2002, and see if the problem still exists. If so, move your fs2002.cfg to the temporary folder, restart fs2002 and allow fs2002 to recreate a new fs2002.cfg, then see if the problem still exists. If so, does your GPS gauge provide map information? If not, retrieve a fresh copy of the GPS.gau gauge from your CDs using an unzipping program.Search the *.cab files for the GPS.gau file and extract to your fs2002gauges folder. Try again to see if the problem is fixed. You can return any of the files stored in the temporary folder at any time.
