January 7, 200620 yr Devonair are pleased to announce that they have signed a contract with Canadian tour specialist Globespan, to operate to 3 Canadian destinations from Exeter. The airports of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver (via Montreal) will each see a weekly flight commencing the 30th January 2006. Services were unable to be launched before this date due to the aircraft completing prior charter contracts, however this time will be used to promote the new destinations. A spokesperson from Exeter international Airport welcomed the new services, "We have always had a strong connection with Canada, and have been offering flights to Toronto for the last 10 Years. We are very excited to see Montreal and Vancouver added to our list of destinations from Exeter, and the passengers that these flights will deliver."The services will utilise the airlines sole Airbus A310-300, now being fitted in a dual class cabin with IFE at each seat.Devonair is a small, but exciting virtual airline for FS2002/4, which has its headquarters at Exeter International Airport (EGTE) in the South West of England.Originally formed in May 2004 by the current CEO James Simmonds. We also have a fleet of 5 Embraer 170, and 3 Airbus A319-100 for Domestic and Continental Destinations. January 8, 200620 yr I bet 'Airbus' are not aware that their A310 could fly that distance? Please sign your post's as per forum requirements.Dave T. .........On the Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor

January 8, 200620 yr DaveI am sure Airbus do realise that the A310 can go that distance. Exeter to Toronto = 3,035 nm approxTaken from the Airbus web site Range (w/max. passengers) 8,050 (9,600) km. 4,350 (5,200) nm. Also Air Transat fly from Toronto to Exeter and from Exeter to Birmingham then back to Toronto, so please feel free to send email to Air Transat telling them that they could not possibly do a flight from Toronto to Exeter in an A310 as they do not fly that distance.>Ahh, maturity at last?We have always been mature, I think you are being a little immature posting messages like these. Trying to stop people checking out Devonair or maybe even stop them joining ????For everyone who is looking at this, Dave left Devonair when he was asked to file PIRPS for the Devonair routes only using Devonair Aircraft, he wanted to fly from different destinations using different Aircraft and file them as flying hours for Devonair. As a VA all we ask you to do is, fly the Devonair Routes in a Devonair Aircraft. If you want to fly another Aircraft or do different routes or Devonair Routes in a different Aircraft, then please do so, but they can not be counted as flight for Devonair so no PIREP can be filed.I personally joined a VA to do there routes and fly there Aircraft, as could never make up my mind what I wanted to fly and where to fly from and too. Now I just pick a flight and fly it.I hope this will not stop people checking out Devonair, we are a friendly group, so hope to see some of you there.Devonair Pilot.

January 9, 200620 yr >........And so do I. If people examine your flying hours, I'm sure they will understand your impetuance.impetuance by the way is not a word. My flying hours for a VA maybe low, but have been using Simulator since 98, decided to join a VA to share a hobby, I like doing with other people who share the same hobby, begining to wish I had not bothered, you try to get more people invloved by putting an advert on a forum like this and all you get is hassle. What ever your reason for leaving, you did not have to leave a post on this forum, you decided to leave why spoil it for the rest of us ?Might as well not have bothered to put advertisment, for Devonair, so cheers Dave could have found another way to waste 20 mins of my time.>I wish to retract this remark. Why say it in the first place ???? and why post in the first place ???RussellDevonair pilot.
