December 7, 200619 yr TexAir is based out of Austin and has passenger service to most regional and international airports in Texas as well as a number of international airports across the nation. Yes, I did have a post a day or two ago, but a lot has changed since that post. I would like to let everyone know about what I've done.PILOTSTexAir was launched on too large of a scale/schedule. The schedule has now been drastically changed to be more practical and more local. Also, I had an enormous amount of aircraft that I didn't need, so I've (virtually) sold the entire large aircraft lot. TexAir now operates the CRJ-200, the CRJ-900, the MD-83, the A320-200, the B737-700, and the B757-200. The focus is to be very simple with everything, and that it has become. Not all of the aircraft are operating just yet but they will be shortly. Our pilot system is very simple and low-stress. We do not do testing and/or checkrides for promotions. It simply just takes the input of hours to move into a new position. TexAir is very laid-back and treats its employees well. Also, our PIREP, Pilot Sign Up, and Roster system should become automated (thanks to ePirep) very soon. TexAir needs some pilots. Please come by and apply. We'll transfer up to 100 hours from another VA. By the way, not everyone starts out in the lowest position. Your starting position is evaluated by your experience level. Pilots of all levels are welcome!MANAGERSI'm running this airline all by myself (except for possibly the addition of ePirep) and I just can't do that forever. I'm going to need a Hub Captain for Austin and also possibly a Fleet Manager to do some repaints (if I had somebody to help the fleet would already be painted). Anyone who's got the least amount of experience in these fields are welcome to apply. We are a startup airline and need the extra help. Please go to http://texairva.tripod.com and help us out. Thanks a bunch!
