Summer Never Ends in Texas!
Are cloudy skies looming because summer's coming to a close, and the reality of having to return to work or school getting you down? We're not letting that happen at TexAir. Every day means blue skies in the Texas-friendly skies! But Texas-friendly skies aren't just over Texas, no! We've got hubs all over the country with a diverse fleet to operate scheduled flights. But in case you want to remind yourself of that great summer getaway when you're knee deep in assignments, we have a great charter subsidiary to get you in all the planes you love, and to the places big birds can't necessarily go. We want our pilots to be the best they can be, so we also entered into an exclusive training partnership with VATSTAR to help our pilots achieve their dreams. That doesn't come without rewards, either! We offer "fast track" hours and profile ribbons for every course completed. Did I mention that our Fleet Modernization Program is in full effect? Just this weekend, we took delivery of our gorgeous new 738 and 752 repaints. Have a look for yourself. In addition to smiling pilots, we're also looking for some well qualified individuals to fill a few staff positions. Specifically, we need someone to take on the role of our Brand Manager position - which is considered a combination of both branding and marketing. We also need to fill our Fleet Manager position - which should be noted will not have to complete repaints for us at the moment as we've already negotiated that, we just need someone around to help us test deliveries and troubleshoot pilot issues. (Repaints may be discussed down the road.) And yes, we do have a few Hub Manager slots still open, as well. If you may be interested in any of these and have applicable experience, swing by the Staff page to get an idea of what we need and how to apply. So stop on by, take a look at what we're all about, and say Howdy! If you like what you see, go on and apply! TexAir Virtual Airlines

Two Great Staff Positions Open
Howdy from the Texas-friendly skies once again! TexAir Virtual Airlines is looking to fill two Administrative position vacancies that we've had open for some time. We would like to fill these positions so that we can complete our current project goals and move forward on other plans. (If you'd like to know more about our culture, just see this page.) The positions: Fleet Manager We need someone that has repaint and troubleshooting experience to bring our fleet into the 21st century. Specifically, we need new freeware repaints on all of our models that will not be retiring, and also repaints on replacement models we have planned to take delivery on. An interim livery has already been designed by my second in command, so you can use that one or we can look at fresh designs. Our primary focus is freeware for FSX/FS9, but would also like to offer payware options for as many aircraft as possible. P3D support a plus but not a must. Brand Manager We need someone to do exactly as I'm doing now. This someone must have a knack for creativity to design recruitment ads and programs, and take them into the FS community with hopes of bringing in even more great pilots and staff. They will be the "face" of the company - taking to external communications and explaining to those interested what we're about on at least a weekly basis. So if you feel you may be qualified and ready to dedicate yourself to such an airline and position, feel free to drop by our Staff page and learn how to apply (or just click any of the links above). We also have other staff positions available, but those listed above will be priority until filled. And of course, we're always open to seeing more new pilots! We have a great community going once again, and we'd love more smiling faces. Drop on by, kick up your boots, and stay a while!

Look Who's Back
It is a great pleasure to announce that TexAir Virtual Airlines has returned to the virtual skies after a long hiatus. We have a great, fully-functional, new website (at our old location texairvirtual.org I might add) with lots of features and awards for pilots to pursue. We return with the same all-Boeing mainline fleet and that one-of-a-kind massive flight schedule similar to that of a legacy carrier, but with lots of routes no one flies thrown in. We've upgraded our terminals at all of our old hubs in Austin, Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, Minneapolis, Washington, and Tampa - once again making it obvious why everything is bigger about Texas. What has changed is our attitude towards flying and structure in general. We don't have a very large staff design (but with that said do have some vacant positions that need filling), we no longer restrict flights or aircraft based on rank, and our activity polices are extremely relaxed (1 flight every 90 days). Pilots can file via FSPassengers, XAcars, or online manual form (we hope to support more systems in the near future). We will be adding a forum in the next day or two; and with enough interest, we may consider a dedicated TeamSpeak server and some other great add-on features. And yes, we even have an amazing new livery design in the works. We could certainly use some pilots, though! Won't you come by and say Howdy? (Any of our pre-hiatus members are more than welcome to sign up as well - we even give an award for y'all.) vPress Release: Based in Austin, TexAir is a world-class simulated carrier hell-bent on connecting Texas with the rest of the world. We also have hubs in Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, Minneapolis, Washington, and Tampa - making it easy to see everything really is bigger about Texas. We also offer a grand flight schedule comparable to real world legacy carriers, but with many routes that no one else flies thrown in. We have an friendly atmosphere, minimal requirements, lots of options, and lots of awards. So come by and say Howdy, Y'all!

Charter Division Now Open
Today at TexAir, we launched our new charter flight division which allows our pilots to request a charter route via our forum in any aircraft on routes we don't service in our regularly scheduled division. Aircraft types are broken into categories, and each pilot's rank is eligible for certain categories. Charter equipment can include our current fleet, or it can be an aircraft lease. Depending on rank, our charters can be found in anything from a Cessna 150 to an Antonov 225.Of course, we offer a great selection from scheduled routes as well. Stop by and give our schedule and route maps a look. We're always accepting new pilots, and we welcome all levels of experience. Our activity policy was recently reduced, too. And as mentioned in prior messages, we're still running a self-training program for pilots to add study hours towards progressing their rank. We like to have fun, and we like to keep it real.http://texair.a60.us

New Features & Pilot Training at TexAir
We at TexAir just recently wrapped work on completing our primary schedules for the season, and to celebrate that, we launched quite a few new features this week that we've never had before. Among many of those new features are:=> Event Signups=> Passenger Timetable=> Timetable Downloads=> Route MapsBut perhaps the largest new feature is the introduction of our Exam Center and the start of our Pilot Training Incentive Initiative. We are giving our pilots the option to improve their skills and performance with Study Guides, Forum Ground School, Teamspeak Flight School, Resources, and an Exam Center. Pilots can purchase available tests with their virtual earnings. Each test they pass earns them 10 study hours to be applied to their account as flight time towards a rank promotion. This is particularly helpful to those pilots on the low end of flight time and experience. Most importantly, none of our tests are required to take at any time. Training is optional for those who just want to keep flying. Our first test and study guide went active today, and we plan to bring more online over the coming weeks. So now with all these great features, we would really like to see some new pilots and staff members. We welcome pilots from all walks and will transfer up to 100% verified hours. We also include a v$5000 signing bonus for new hires - which really helps for pilots who'd like to take our tests. We only require one flight a month to stay active and we have a realistic rank structure. We're located at http://texair.co.cc. Drop on by and see us!We're also in need of a few staff positions. Currently we'd like to fill these positions:=> Fleet Director=> Events & Charters Director=> KAUS Chief Pilot=> KSAT Chief PilotIf youre interested in these and have related experience, visit our Staff Forum to learn how to apply. New staff hires get a v$10000 signing bonus.

At Long Last, We Found a Host
At long last we finally found a reliable host for TexAir, and we're back in the skies! We had some issues finding a descent host and disappeared a few times prematurely. But I am glad to say that TexAir has resumed operations and is looking for pilots and staff to help with those operations.Pilots We use a multiple flight reporting system for a broader range of pilot options. Use your third party programs like FSAcars, FSPassengers, and FSKeeper, or file the old fashioned way with a web form. We are looking for pilots of all experience levels. We'll transfer 100% of roster or network hours if you have any. Pilots get a v$5000 signing bonus to their account upon acceptance to the roster. We operate from two major fields in central Texas, with four other focus fields across the United States. We operate a large schedule with a diverse fleet: Commuters, regionals, domestics, internationals, and big iron. StaffAs we've been away for a while, we're pretty empty on staff and could use the help. Previous experience is preferred or required, see our openings on our website. New staff hires get a v$10000 signing bonus to their pilot account. Currently we need: Scheduling Director Fleet Director Webmaster/Systems Director Events Director 2 Chief Pilots/Hub Directors If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, stop by and check us out. http://texair.co.cc

TexAir is Back
TexAir disappeared from the scopes for a short stint due to numerous issues, mostly involving finance. Fortunately we have found a free web host to return to the skies under a much more relaxed atmosphere as when we originally started. We're not requiring online flight for pirep verification, and we're using a manual system, making us more like a community of aviators. We've added smaller commuter aircraft to our fleet, as well as some cargo feeders. Our routes are mostly focused on the state of Texas, but we have crew bases in Austin, Colorado Springs, Tucson, Portland, Fargo, Washington, and Tampa. There are no rank restrictions and we only ask for one flight a month. We also have a forum that is community-based, and pilots can help others as well as post events for us to join. So, if you're interested in a simple and friendly virtual airline with a large fleet and large flight schedule, swing by and give us a visit. We also welcome charter flights if we don't serve the destination you're interested in.http://texairvirtual.co.cc

New Hubs Need New Pilots
TexAir is looking for new pilots! A recent shift in operations determined the movement of our headquarters to head south a few miles to San Antonio, TX (KSAT). We've also rearranged our hubs and done away with focus airports. Going back to our original plan from 2006, we have decreased to four hubs across the U.S. Those hubs, which are in need of pilots, are KSAT, KFAR, KPDX, & KIAD.Pilots can fly on VATSIM with a simple manual pirep form, or they can export their flights to us via FS Acars or FS Passengers. Some of our fleet has been outfitted for more cargo ops, allowing cargo routes on smaller aircraft. We have also done away with rank restrictions and our pilots are welcome to fly any of our flights. We allow up to 100% hour transfers to be applied to the pilot's rank with a valid verification link. Our forum is a community where we listen to pilots. There is even a board to offer new routes or equipment changes. Please stop by and have a look, you'll like what you see. We are also looking to fill some staff positions.http://www.texairvirtual.com

TexAir Looking for Active Pilots

Hiring Pilots & Hub Directors
In addition to our looking for new pilots at TexAir to fly our world-class schedule, we are also in need of some Hub Directors to help approve pireps and enforce our SOP. Right now we have openings at three of our hubs across the US: KDEN, KLAS, & KPDX. Applicants for these positions need to have a decent amount of experience on VATSIM, at least 250 previous flight hours, and preferably some experience in VA management. If you meet those requirements and are interested in the position, please visit our Staff openings page to view a list of duties/requirements and to learn how to apply: http://www.texairvirtual.com/index.php/pages/staffopeningsAs always, we welcome new pilots of all experience levels and we offer destinations real world airlines don't fly to any longer, and some that have never have been commercially serviced. Of course, we fly to the big metropolises as well (is that a word?) so destinations are a dime a dozen. Visit http://www.texairvirtual.com to check us out and apply! Thanks for reading!

TexAir is looking for pilots & staff
A lot has been added and improved upon at TexAir since my last post. I'd like to welcome everyone to come by and see our great website, and welcome any pilots looking for that great virtual job to stop by and apply. We are also in need of Hub Directors for three of our hubs (DEN, LAS, PDX). Here are a few of the things that have been going on around TexAir.World Class Flight ScheduleWe have a world class flight schedule, which means we cover not only the Lone Star state, but a vast majority of the United States, much of North America, and many destinations across the world. Our divisions include TexAir, Texpress!, TexAir Cargo, and TicketAir. Many of our similar routes have been dropped by other carriers due to the ailing economy, but not us. We still fly to the big metropolis and that little airport tucked away in the mountains.Experience-Based Ranks & AircraftBecause of our large flight schedule, it gives our pilots many different flight options at every level of our roster ranking system. For newer pilots, we have many puddle-jumps in our turboprops and regional jets from and to our hubs as well as small regional airports and just locations of interest. For the more experienced pilots, we have a diverse, modern fleet of Boeing aircraft to fly those long hauls, hub-to-hub, or maybe that small strip in the Caribbean. Ranks are based on experience as represented by total flight hours.Modern FleetOur fleet consists of turboprops like the Embraer 120 to the large jumbo jets like the Boeing 747. Although the regional fleet contains brands more fitting to their needs, TexAir's mainline has always been 100% Boeing products, and fleet development has no plan to change that. Presently, we are in the process of refitting our TicketAir Boeing 737-800s to provide an excellent economy class carrier service to and from large sports areas (see more below). We're also trading in our Dash 8-200s for bigger and better Dash 8-400s. In a few months, we will begin to retire our older MD-83s and replace them with Boeing 717-200s. Some of the MD-83s will be sold, others will be stripped for cargo service. We like to keep our fleet modern and updated, and who knows, we may order some Boeing 787s in a few months.TicketAir Becomes a Low-Fare CarrierPreviously, TicketAir was a charter division of TexAir aimed to provide luxury travel for professional and college sports teams. Because most sports teams already have air carrier contracts and partially due to the economy, the directors at TexAir decided to reform the division to provide low-fare economy service to travelers going to and from major sports destinations in the USA. Presently the Boeing 737-800s have been grounded for refitting to include much more seating and less luxury. Unlike the TexAir mainline fleet, these aircraft will not have the entertainment and service features included on other aircraft due to their focus on economy travel. TicketAir flights will be operated entirely by TexAir pilots, and will be principally based out of Houston, TX. Service is expected to begin in a few short weeks.(Stock photo of a TicketAir B738)Three Ways to PirepAs has been mentioned before, TexAir allows ease of use with three different types of pirep recording. For VATSIM-only pilots, we have a manual submission form. We also allow flight exports from FS Acars and FS Passengers users.Pilot BenefitsPresently TexAir offers a very nice pay system based on pilot ranks for virtual earnings. In the future, pilots will be able to spend virtual earnings on virtual and possibly even real prizes. So, the more a TexAir pilot flies and makes, the better (sounds real enough). We also have some nice benefits and rules as we only require one flight a month to stay active and virtual prizes on the message forum. That's right, we have a screenshot contest for virtual money every month. There's also double pay available for those who take part in VATUSA's Friday Night Ops.Those are just a few of the things that have been going on around TexAir. We'd like to see more activity on the human side of things though, so stop on by some time and help us get back on the map for good. Thanks, and I hope to see y'all real soon!http://www.texairvirtual.com

TexAir Hiring Pilots & Staff
After re-opening our doors a few weeks ago, TexAir has adjusted to its new system very well. The new website has been completed, bugs removed, and pilots have been joining for our three way pirep system and large schedule which offers a variety of flight options. The flight schedule continues to be built, and currently offers all "hub-to-hub" and "hub-to-focus" flights, with local "hub-to-spoke" routes being added daily. Our cargo division has been included in the activity.FleetWe offer a diverse fleet for new to veteran pilots. Our mainline aircraft consists entirely of Boeing products, and our smaller regional aircraft include manufacturers like DeHavilland, Bombardier, and Embraer. Our aircraft are divided into categories directly related to our pilot ranks which are based on hours of experience.EMB-120DHC-8-200CRJ-200CRJ-700MD-83B737-700B737-800 (TicketAir Charters)B757-200B767-300 (& Freighter)B777-300 (& Freighter)B747-400 (& Freighter)Flight ScheduleOur flight schedule is modeled (but not based) after many real world air carriers and, when completed, will offer a large number of destinations across North America and the Caribbean, and multiple destinations across the world. We fly to some of the most popular airports, but you'll also find flights to airports rarely or never serviced by commercial airlines (until now).Pirep SystemOur pirep system is a wonderful tool that allows pilots to pick from three different ways to fly our flights. We are FS Passengers & FS Acars certified, and we also offer manual pireps for the strictly online VATSIM flyer. These options combined with our flights give our pilots a great amount of options to choose from.Hubs & Focus AirportsIn the past our pilots were given the choice between as many as seven hubs/crew bases. During our reformation, it was decided that this number was far too high for the style in which we operate. So, we have cut back our hubs to four, but have kept our other airports (as well as the home airport of our charter division TicketAir) as focus airports. Crews may only be based at the four hubs, but our flights originate from all eight airports.Hubs/Crew Bases: KAUS, KDEN, KLAS, KPDXFocus Airports: KEWR, KHOU, KMSP, KTPAStaffWe are also hiring staff members. We're looking for some Hub Directors to help verify pireps and keep pilots going. We also need an Events Director to keep airline activity up and promote our online presence back to what it once was (or more). See our Staff Openings page for information on how to apply. So if you like the sound of a great virtual airline that's been around a while, then come by and apply. We are ready for pilots at all hubs.www.texairvirtual.com

TexAir Returns to the Skies
www.texairvirtual.comTexAir Virtual Airlines has returned to the skies after a period of inoperable circumstances. We've come back strong, too. We've got a great new website with all kinds of features, making pilot and visitor navigation a breeze. We also have three different ways to file a pirep and a fleet that works with three different flight simulators (MS only), making our compatibility with pilots the best its ever been. Our operations have been cut back from what they once were, reducing ourselves down to four hubs (AUS, DEN, LAS, PDX), with the remaining airports as focus locations. For the first time since we originally opened in 2006, we have a searchable flight schedule and a flight tracking map as part of our integrated and dynamic website. We're hiring pilots for all four hubs, so come on by and join the team. We also have some staff positions available which can be found on our Staff Openings page.www.texairvirtual.com

TexAir Welcomes a New Website
Good evening pilots,After months of anxiously awaiting an answer to our dinosaur of a website, we have finally installed and completed a new site that will bring TexAir back into modern times once again. We've finally created a great looking, user friendly website that not only increases the abilities of our pilots, but it also gives us a chance to organize them in a way that was previously not possible. We still use VAFS for our pirep system, and our wonderful schedule and fleet is doing well. Pilot activity is as high as it was before we began a renovation project months ago, and we are glad to be back on track. We've also had a recent addition to our system, TicketAir is a realistic daughter company of the airline that focuses on professional sports contracts. Our pilots not only are able to fly all of TexAir's international schedule, but now they can fly interesting charter flights in our new luxury-liner first class Boeing 737-800s (leased but not yet painted). With our new website, endless new features have been introduced to us. Our site is more user friendly to guests and pilots alike. Our pilots for the first time have user accounts which gives them access to a special Pilot Menu where our fleet downloads, flight resources, pilot performance chart, and many other things can be found - with the possibility of many more features in the near future. We've also moved into a self-hosted and much safer message forum which allows us to create pilot accounts when applications are accepted rather than requiring the pilot to make an account themselves as with the previous forum. But not just pilots can find our site useful. Guests are just as welcome, and we have many great pages to be viewed on the Main Menu as well. All this is wonderful for us, but we are desperately in need of more pilots. We have too many aircraft and not enough pilots to fly them, so we need a lot of help. We welcome pilots of all experience levels, too. New pilots can start in our regional line, Texpress!, with our E120s and find their way up the ladder with experience being the one and only condition of promotion. For experienced pilots, we will transfer 100% of verified hours with provided evidence from one of two sources: give us a VA roster link or just tell us your VATSIM ID number (only one source can be used though). We have five different regular pilot ranks that all pay well in virtual money, and there is opportunity for advancement as we are still in need of some staff. You can choose from seven of our great hubs across the USA as well. For activity, we ask you complete a flight within fourteen days of acceptance, and then just once a month after that - not bad at all.So I invite you, if you are interested in working for a great community of virtual aviators in a fantasy-themed airline with a realistic flight schedule, come by our website and see what we're all about. If you like us, go to the Application page, read our SOP, and apply! We'd love to have you. http://texair.vahangar.net

TexAir Needs Pilots & Staff
http://texair.vahangar.net/images/logo.jpgGreetings, and Happy Independence Day!TexAir Virtual Airlines is in need of some help. We recently underwent a massive restructuring to include six new hubs and a cargo fleet. During this time, we lost a lot of pilot activity, which was to be expected. Now that our project is finally complete, we've been trying to fly & fill the gaps, but the fact is there just aren't enough of us around to do it. We are looking to hire as many pilots as we can, as well as fill a lot of staff positions.PilotsWe can hire pilots of any experience level. We have aircraft & ranks for each level of the flight sim enthusiast. New pilots can start out with us flying our commuter & regional routes, Texpress!, in our E120s & CRJ7s. More experienced pilots can fly our lower mainline routes in our MD83s & B737s. Then there's our larger fleet for the generals around, ranging from the B752 to the B744. We do not require checkrides and will transfer 100% of a pilot's previous hours on VATSIM or with another virtual airline with provided evidence. New hires can also select one of our seven great hubs across the US: KAUS, KDEN, KEWR, KLAS, KMSP, KPDX, KTPA. We use VAFS so pilots have the cadillac of ACARS-type systems to file their pireps. We only require one flight a month to remain active, with a fourteen day probationary status for new hires. Best of all, we are like a family of pilots more than a company. We welcome all types!Hub DirectorsWe're in need of a few more Hub Directors to maintain our pilots and enforce our SOP. Current openings include KAUS, KDEN, & KPDX (check the job listing below to confirm it's still open). We require at least 250 previous flight hours with VA management skills preferred for these positions. TexAir Seeking Webmaster
Due to a major change to our pirep service provider, TexAir will discontinue use of the VAFS3 system as of March 31, 2008. We have been researching new PHP-based systems and have settled on the Virtual Admin II system, which we have been trying desperately to install successfully. Though much to our disappointment, the system cannot seem to be installed under our very limited PHP experience. Furthermore, it was also decided that this would be a great time to break away from our former HTML-only website and step up to something more modern and advanced. I currently serve as the acting Webmaster, but due to my limitations in PHP and other script as well as personal time, I cannot tackle this project alone. We cannot offer any form of real compensation, however the position will be considered administrative staff with all the perks. Qualifications - Must be able to check and respond to email on a daily basis, preferrably more often. - Must be able to troubleshoot and fix problems within a quick amount of time (24 hours or less preferrably). - Must be able to work within the limitations of VA Hangar web hosting (PHP/MySQL enabled). - Must have a good knowledge of HTML, PHP, and MySQL (other codes/langauges a plus). - Must be able to provide functional evidence of previous and/or current work. - Previous virtual airline experience preferred (pilot and/or website). - Must be able to provide external features neccesary to complete the work. What We Want/Need - A dynamic, user-friendly, and fully functional website that has modern looks themed around the airline, preferrably with "real airline" feel & features. - Installation and maintinence of either the Virtual Admin II system or a custom-made system (can be PHP, ACARS, or both). - Maintinence of pilot, staff, & airline information, including but not limited to VATSIM memberships and relations. - Possibly a Pilot Training & Testing Center. - Full freedom of creativity under approval of the staff. - Flexibility to create and/or change things as requested by staff. - Membership/Ability to upload our aircraft to Avsim. If you are interested in the position and believe you are qualified, send me a virtual resume detailing your experience, why you are interested, and what you can offer TexAir. You may send them to [email protected]. Our website (which has already been stripped to bare minimums) is http://texair.vahangar.net. And of course, if a candidate is willing to offer us anything better (like web hosting and/or TeamSpeak server), we will consider it but may or may not accept. Thanks.

Become a fellow "Rainbird"
TexAir is indeed happy to have Rainbird as a new partner, and it could not have come at a better time. TexAir has been down for a few weeks now in order to restructure things around the airline. We were going to have to remove all hubs except Austin; but with our arrangment with Rainbird, not only do we get to keep our other favorite market in the Pacific Northwest, but we also get to go places we've never flown to before. Plus, you gotta love their colorful "easter egg" livery. ;-)

TexAir Presents "Texas Connection"
Texas Connection is a new route program that focuses on commuter routes in TexAir's home state. These are routes that cross the entire state to and from select airports directly so the virtual commuters don't have to connect through a hub. The program's main airports are Dallas Love (KDAL), Houston Intercontinental (KIAH), El Paso (KELP), Harlingen (KHRL), Corpus Christi (KCRP), and San Antonio (KSAT). Pilots will not be based at these airports however many of the airline's CRJ-700s will. From these airports commuters can travel across the state from twenty regional and international destinations. It's just another way to say we are "Tex" air. http://www.texairvirtual.org

Spring Cleaning is Over and TexAir is Sparkling
Let me start off by thanking all of you who attended our Cowboy Breakfast event on April 21. You did not go un-noticed. We appreciate everyone who came in to AUS and SAT for that and definetly plan to have it again next year. Not long after the event, we at TexAir decided to have a little spring cleaning session. Our airline was in some need of a cleanup. It is my pleasure to announce that tonight the dust pan and broom have been put away to reveal our new operations. It's the same iterim website, but with a brand new attitude and schedule. Our schedule was adjusted to be more realistic and logical. Yes, we still have international service, however it has been drastically reduced and limited to North America and the Pacific Theater. Our routes in general have changed too. We decided that Buffalo was not serving us as a hub well and have moved into Minneapolis. Our domestic service is incredible, and there's very few places in the USA that we don't fly. Our schedule also gives pilots the choice of when to fly a route and what aircraft to fly it with. We have routes for every type of pilot. Fly our short commuter and regional routes. Fly our domestic routes. Fly our international long-haul routes. Fly them all! And remember just for you Texas pilots, we've got the most commuter routes in the whole state. Chances are we fly to that airport out in the sticks. Our hubs are Austin (KAUS), Spokane (KGEG), Denver (KDEN), and Minneapolis (KMSP). We are hiring pilots for all of them. Also, we have two Hub Captain positions open for Denver and Minneapolis. Drop by our Management page to apply. Another adjustment we made is to our Pilot Handbook. Our rules had many loopholes before and were not very clear. That has been fixed. Here are some of them: - We still allow our pilots to fly online or offline. - Pilot rank system was adjusted. - Experimental flights are now allowed where a pilot may fly any route they wish so long as it is an aircraft within the limits of their rank. - Hour transfers were made easier. Finally, our beautiful fleet is almost entirely finished. We fly: Embraer 120 DeHavilland Dash 8-200 Bombardier CRJ-200 Bombardier CRJ-700 McDonnell Douglas MD-83 Boeing 717-200 (Coming Very Soon) Boeing 737-300 (Coming Soon) Boeing 737-700 Boeing 757-200 Boeing 767-300 TexAir is all about freedom of flight, and that is the reason behind many of our regulations. We are not a strict airline at all, in fact we are much like a family. All that is required is participation in our forums and one flight every 30 days. If you can do that, then we're perfect for you. So, if you are interested in flying for a great, closely-knit virtual airline, stop by our website and apply. http://www.texairvirtual.org
