September 13, 200223 yr Hi Clipper people,I am really thinking about getting the Clipper but I have a question.I understand that the package contains scenery from the Clipper period. But doesn't that overlap with today's scenery. Do you switch off the Clipper sceneries when flying other airplanes?Maybe a dumb question but I have been thinking about this.Alex
September 13, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi Alex,I've had the Clipper since it was released, and it's still on of my favorite planes to fly. I didn't do any tweaking with my default scenery before loading that for the Clipper... just loaded it up and flew. I haven't seen any issues yet, although I'm sure I haven't flown to all of the scenery points provided. And they just released more scenery the other day! Bear in mind that because of physics, this bird just won't land on anything but water ;-), and AFAIK the actual float-plane bases MS provided by default in FS2002 are either very scarce or non-existant. You should be fine.good luck! September 13, 200223 yr Alex, yes, the installation contains some vintage sceneries of the past. I simply located them and deleted them. (first, you have to do it from the FS2002 library menu). I don't remember where the files have been installed(scenery, scenedb..?) but I remember I deleted them. Anyway, they are very good sceneries, I just want to have modern ones.Andy
