Looking for a VA

Featured Replies

Hello,Im looking for a VA that is United States based, has flights to KPVD, uses A320s for the flights to PVD, Has a good livery, automated site and great staff that accept pilots ideas. Can Somebody please help me? P.S. I am not looking for livewire in any way, shape or form.Signed,Matthew Whittaker Long Live the A320!http://www.airbus.com/img/media/multimedia...qtvr_a320_a.gif

I am a pilot for Air source, you can fly 120+ real world airlines check it out at http://www.ar-source.com it is automatedMattCookAS143

Hmmm - perhaps Virtual United does... not sure though. I flew for them a while back, but went back to my favorite Meridian. You like KPVD? I'm just south - about two miles off the threshold of Quonset's runway 16. Most VA's I've seen fly, at most, 737's and props to PVD... Not sure what Virtual United will do though. PVD's not a big United field. Too bad there isn't a Virtual USAir - even if they're bankrupt. Finding a VA with such specific criteria may be tough, fyi...-Greg Germ A Ro-Dyilandah

I'm not sure if United flys A320s into Green I know that they fly 757s and 737s. I know Northwest and US does/did. You live pretty close to Quonset, I bet you hear or see the airshow every year. I have aircraft taking off from green, Im from North Providence but they are still low enough so you can tell what airline the aircraft is and it is easy to distinguish the boeings and airbuses. Boeing=Loud Airbus=Quiet. I don't want to start a Boeing/Airbus flame war, but most of the time the Airbuses are quiet and the Boeings are loud. I still have respect for Boeing so don't worry. The 757 is a great plane as is the 737, but I prefer Airbus.Signed,Matthew Whittaker Long Live the A320!http://www.airbus.com/img/media/multimedia...qtvr_a320_a.gif

Actually, I just moved into this house from one up in Cranston, on the departure pattern from PVD 5R. But airshow weekends, I am not at home... I practically LIVE on the Quonset tarmac those days. :) My roommate was working on his car in our driveway, and apparently the Thunderbirds buzzed our house at a few hundred feet more than a few times during the airshow this year... but I was airshow center, so I didn't care. :) That's a good thing about the metro Providence area... no matter where you go, you'll be under airplanes. Its also great to look out my window now and feel like I can reach up and touch the C130's of the RIANG flying in. Good luck on your VA hunt, -Greg
