October 16, 200421 yr Looking for a fun and friendly VA? If so, check out Skiair: http://www.pookiedom.com/skiairhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/94566.jpg
October 16, 200421 yr Ummmm...Pookie-I clicked on your link, and all I got was a blank (white) page with a couple of phrases at the bottom: Status: Open for Business Copyright
October 18, 200421 yr You need to download the free FLASH player from Macromedia.com to be able to view websites created in FLASH.
October 18, 200421 yr I've got Flash installed. It works just fine with other sites that I visit. I'm not sure why it won't work with yours.I re-installed it in case there was an updated version or something. Same results: yours is the only site I've come across so far that doesn't display properly.I'm not being accusatory or trying to come across negative in any way. Yesterday I was merely wondering if there might be an issue of some sort. Now I'm just kind of scratching my head wondering why I can't get it to display. I use Mozilla Firefox for my browser. Do you think that has anything to do with it (Macromedia Flash is installed, and I have not had problems with other sites displaying properly)?Cheers! :-beerchug
October 18, 200421 yr I appreciate your helping me try to fix the issue with your browser. I double checked the page and made two small changes to the code. Try it again at http://www.pookiedom.com/skiair Make sure you refresh your page once loaded. If that doesn't work, then try to load just the flash movie at http://www.pookiedom.com/skiair/v3/v34.swfLet me know.
October 18, 200421 yr Hello,Your website is very well made and unusual(flash and theme park alike :) )Hope that ski air will last a long times
October 18, 200421 yr Well, Pookie,... you did more than I was expecting, BUT... the website now displays perfectly in my browser, so your code changes worked! This quick personal attention is starting to give me a warm, fuzzy... The Skiair website is very nice, one of the better VA sites I've come across. Although I'm currently with another VA (flying large airliners) I'm looking for more variety. It's tough getting on my short list of VAs to consider, but Skiair is on it.Thank you again, sir!
October 18, 200421 yr Thank you for your kind words. Skiair is a small, fun VA. I created it a year ago since I enjoy short hops. I think our route structure will remain as is for the time being, but we are working on adding some new "Ski Trips" that will have our pilots hopping all around the Rockies.
October 21, 200421 yr Very very nice!Looks like a cool little VA. Flying props around mountains should be fun. Eric Thornton
