Starting a New Virtual Airline

Featured Replies

Hi,I am starting a new VA and wondering anyone have any expertise on getting a VA started or any experience on do's and dont's. I have review information from flightsim but just wanted to know further information. Thanks!

The best thing to do is work for one (a good one) as a pilot for a while and see how they run things. After that, it's all kind of up to you. Better know a lot about repainting, though, or at least better know someone who does it.There's also some tutorials out on FlightSim.com. It's in their "How To..." section (sorry I don't have the link handy).Good luck! I just started mine, BTW, but it's not going over well yet. Maybe I'll get a few pilots soon. There's just so many VAs now that everybody gets discusted. Also, check out the Virtual Airlines forum on VATSIM. There's always some helpful faces around.

Thanks for the input I actually been around for awhile. I have a lot of knowledge how the VA world works. Currently I work for a real world airline so I know the best of both of the worlds. Maybe you can give me some pointers on your VA and how are you doing? ThanksRobert SaylesChief Executive Officer/PresidentCOAIR Virtual, [email protected]

Get at me man. I started a VA in 2000 but had to give it away due to school. right now im majoring in entrepreneurship with a minor in Aviation Adminstration and this would be a great project for us.
