Patch for fs2k2

Recommended Posts

For some aircraft, the autopilot behavior you describe is actually correct. However, in some cases, you should turn it off. To turn it off, go to the &l;autopilot&r; section of your aircraft.cfg file, and add the following lines:use_no_default_pitch=1use_no_default_bank=1For reverse thrust, make sure you calibrate your joystick so that when you set the throttle lever to idle, it really sets the throttle to idle. If FS thinks your throttle lever is at 1%, you'll never be able to get reverse thrust.Don't know of any patches for FS2002, but any that do come out would likely be at www.microsoft.com/games/fs2002Most scenery and aircraft downloads should have readme files that include installation instructions.Matt

The autopilot is working correctly. It was slightly wrong in FS2000, not now.Your reversers aren't working because your joystick callibration is incorrect. FS2002 is more sensitive to throttle jitter than was FS2000 and that's what's causing it. Also no bug. There is no patch, none is needed and there most likely will be none either because of that.

Actually, when you move the throttle all the way back, it should NOT go into reverse. It should simply go to 0% or idle. Then, press and hold F2 to go into reverse. So, I would say the calibration is correct.
