Scenery Library Object error when looking at the Mooney

Recommended Posts

Hey Gang!I am experiencing a particular problem. Every once in a while I get a "Scenery Library Object not Found" error message. At first, it was thought that my "scenery_fs_props.bgl" file, found under the SceneryDB/Props/Scenery folder was corrupted. I extracted the file from the original CD's and re-installed it and I am still experiencing the problem. I have been observing, however, that it only happens in areas where the Mooney AI aircraft is present, and especially when I turn the view to look at it.Any ideas out there on how to fix my problem? Thanks in advance folks.Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert

Sincerely,

Hi Dennis:Did you go to the scenery library and add it in again while running FS2002? Maybe I misunderstood your wording of re-intalling it. If you just put the props file into the scenery folder it will not cure the problem. You have to add it into the scenery.cfg file by adding it back into your scenery library. If this is what you meant by re-intalling it, then I can't tell you what the problem is. Check to see if you have the same problem when you look at a learjet. I used to have the same problem and finally had to reinstall FS2002.

Hey Charly! Thanks for your reply!I simply took the file and copied/pasted it into the Props/Scenery directory. You are saying that this did not really do anything? Do you say that I need to de-activate the file from the scenery library and re-load it?Thanks again!Sincerely,Dennis D. Mullert
