Airport and Facilities Data question...

Featured Replies

Just wondering if these changes that are made such as adding more gates and multiple runways have any impact whatsoever on FPS. The concept of additional gates and especially multiple runways is extremely enticing, however with my system, I can't afford to loose even 1 FPS. It's already 13 - 15 frames, and really jerky, at some airports - not even the REALLY big ones.Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Adam :)

The actions to add more gates and multiple runways probably won't drop your FPS. However, with the added gates, then you have added aircraft and with multiple runways you can now have more aircraft moving around and these could cause lower FPS. One thing you can do is lower the percentage of AI to raise the FPS.Since you didn't provide an computer specs, I can't make any guesses about improving your FPS other than to make sure you are not running a lot of Terminal Stay Resident (TSR) programs, those little icons near the clock, and others that start when your computer starts.
