Ariane 737 with DF737 panel problem

Featured Replies

Has anyone else noticed that the heading select on the Dreamfleet 737 autopilot does not work when the panel is combined with the Ariane 737?I have seen the post about changing the flaps section in the cfg file. Are there more modifications needed to get the panel to work?Bruce

I haven't tried it yet myself, but try copying the autopilot section from the Dreamfleet aircraft.cfg to the ariane one.Matt

HiYep what Matt says.It works fine for me.Ron

Basically the only parts of the Ariane aircraft.cfg that you should keep are the parts that concern the visual aspects of the airplane, i.e. the contact_points, exits, and lights sections, and perhaps some other that I forgot. Copy everything else from the DF aircraft.cfg, and use the DF .air file.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

Do you know why?Drew Andersonhttp://www.dr3w.net/flightsim/

This is what the flap section looks like in the aircraft.cfg of the DF/Ariane merge.&l;Flaps.0&r;type=1span-outboard=0.500000extending-time=45.000000system_type=1flaps-position.0=0.000000,0.000000flaps-position.1=4.875000,0.000000flaps-position.2=9.750000,0.000000flaps-position.3=14.625000,0.000000flaps-position.4=19.500001,0.000000flaps-position.5=24.375001,0.000000flaps-position.6=29.250001,0.000000flaps-position.7=34.125001,0.000000flaps-position.8=39.000001,0.000000&l;Flaps.1&r;type=2span-outboard=0.800extending-time=2.000system_type=1damaging-speed=250.000blowout-speed=300.000lift_scalar=1.000drag_scalar=1.000pitch_scalar=1.000flaps-position.0=0.000, 0.000flaps-position.1=1.000, 0.000&l;Flaps.2&r;type=2span-outboard=0.800extending-time=3.000system_type=1damaging-speed=250.000blowout-speed=300.000lift_scalar=1.000drag_scalar=1.000pitch_scalar=1.000flaps-position.0=0.000, 0.000flaps-position.1=0.500, 0.000flaps-position.2=1.000, 0.000With this combination the flaps work fine. The only thing I'm having problems with using this merge is that the flight controls don't move on the ground, and some light switches don't correspond correctly with the lights.Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing
