October 3, 200223 yr Hi,I have a grave problem with an overlay for EDDM. I have EDDM and EDM2, both created by another author (don't remember who) and I did some slight modifs on it. It worked brillantly. Now I wanted to do some more modifs to create more gates, and when opening either EDDM or EDM2, I get two entries for each of them!In the first momebt I did not care and simply went ahead, creating my gates in EDDM and then in EDM2, saved them, ran the FSNav DBC, startet FS, ran a scenery library update, and... still had the same AFCAD situation as before! As if I hadn't made any changes! So I thought that the second file with the identical name would be the one used by FS, so I exported my modifs from the first file and then re-imported them to the second file (doing that each time for EDDM and EDM2). Not a great deal, takes 10 secs. But: still no change in FS (after running library update etc). When I checked on the AFCAD files again, there weren't any changes in the duplicates, although I had previously imported and saved. What can I do? Do I have to re-install the default regional AFD and then re-import all the airports for which I have changes? WHere can I find that AFD?CheersChris
October 3, 200223 yr Author Sounds like you have duplicate AFD files somewhere in your installation. The AFD file can be found in FSScenedbAFDFilesScenery.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
