October 7, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi Dirk,Sorry, I can't provide assistance, only corroboration. I've had crashes in FS2002 in which visualfx.dll was implicated. And come to think of it, I was always flying near Naji's scenery when it happened. Now, I'm not suggesting for a minute that his scenery is at fault, 'cause I just don't know that. I'm only trying to add my experiences here so we can get to the bottom of those annoying problems.thanks, Bill Womack ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Visit my FS Blog or follow me on Twitter (username: bwomack). October 7, 200223 yr I had the same problem just this weekend. The problem went away after I discovered that my son increased the clock setting of the computer. Bringing the clock frequency back to the original speed made the problem disappear.I hope this helps...Mannie
