October 25, 200223 yr Hi all I seem to have a display problem in fs2002 pro.My aircraft cockpit panels intermittently fade in and out a purple colour.I first noticed this happening when the atc panel was open, when flying the default 747, but is now happening in all aircraft at different times, well most of the time. I can open the atc panel and close it again and the display will return to normal for a while, then will start fading in and out purple again, I can still see all the instruments but find this situation very irritating. My system is a AMD 1700xp, Leadtek GF3Ti200, 512ddr Asus 266ddr M/BIBM 40gb SBLIVE DE.I would be grateful If anyone can helpThanks 1mmc:)
October 25, 200223 yr No big help, but that happened to me too a few times over the past 2 years. It usually disappeared after installing a new video driver.. but only happened with certain aircraft (nd not always... :-( ). :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_052.htm|Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[link:www.avsim.com/vfr_center/mainpages/vfr_flights_main_page.htm]VFR Flight Center]"Looking Good Outside"

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75b.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif

________________________Francois A. October 25, 200223 yr Hi 1MMC, It is a graphics card driver issue, are you running in 16bit mode? If you run the sim in 32bit mode you should find the problem goes away. Alternatively you could go to www.guru3d.com and try some earlier drivers for your geforce3 card which may solve your problem in 16bit mode. However my recommdation is to run in 32bit mode, the sim looks better that way anyway. Hope this helps, Steve
