FS Meteo and V-Sky (Fs Sky World SE)

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi there!Does anybody know if it is possible to have FSmeteo making my weather and use FS Sky World SE for the clouds (i.e. random) AND use the V-Sky feature? When FSmeteo is running, I cannot add a cirrus overcast. Am I missing something? Thanks,Boe, EDHE

Hi Boe,Thanks for posting, saves me asking the same question ;) The clouds work with Meteo but so far not the deep blue sky.I manually set the cloud layers as per the instructions but as soon as Meteo kicks in it wipes out the manually set clouds. Although I have not made a situation file with the V-Sky settings I suspect Meteo will wipe them out just the same.Chris??

In FSUIPC, there is an option to force a light high-level cirrus layer, and to insert a layer for jet trails (with FSClouds 2000). I don't know which files these use, but if someone else knows, we could rename the V-Sky .bmp's and use them that way.Or maybe if we ask really nice, Mr. Dowson would include an option to force a V-Sky layer in a future version of FSUIPC.
