Hear that dull 'clunk' in the UK? That's the sound of the penny dropping! I now understand why FSW clouds sometimes do not appear. And I have seen the 3d clouds whilst on the ground when FSMeteo has reported layers below 3000FT. Thanks for all your help Jerry, and thanks to Chris for his patience in dealing with my stupidity!The clouds looked perfect on my trip from Nottingham to Oxford by the way!I work on an IT helpdesk at a UK university, and until now always believed that user error was something that happened to other people ;)Cheers,Gareth Evans
