October 28, 200223 yr The repaint of Mike Stone's Grumman Goose. "Polynesian Princess" of "Bali Hai Island Excursions" is now available. I believe this is one of my best repaints yet. I had no mental picture when I started so even I was surprised with the end result.Pics at: http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID43/1158.htmlLook for "Lulu" and her music panel too. Configured for the Goose. Hope you Grumman lovers like this one.Cheers!Heather
October 28, 200223 yr Hi Heather, and others,I have had my little reflective tinker with Heathers excellent textures (with her permission of course) and have returned them to her for distribution as she sees fit.Take it from me, Heather has done an excellent "concept" job on this livery and it is well worth having.Happy SimmingGarry J. October 29, 200223 yr Great job (again!!!) Heather! Thanks for your efforts and contributions to the community.
October 29, 200223 yr Thank you gentlemen. It has been and is an honor and a pleasure to be a part of this community. I am happy that I have developed some skills that have allowed me to give back to it a small part when compared to how much I have received from it.Sincerely,Heather
October 29, 200223 yr Heather, Lulu is a classic!! Thank you for the entire flightsim community. I never thought I'd put her in an airplane, but Lulu is just too.... too much of a novelty to pass up.Keep up the great work!!
October 29, 200223 yr Thanks guys, and thank you Railrunner. I get a great deal of pleasure out of knowing that my work is appreciated. Makes a fun hobby all that much more rewarding.Lulu is indeed tacky, but that's all part of the deal. She just seemed SO RIGHT for the Polynesian Princess (and the Duck, when I first came up with her).On hindsight, I should have put some "fuzzy dice" hanging over the panel of that "Hot Rod" Beech-18 I repainted of Greg Pepper's. I wonder if Bill Morad would make a gauge for me that would make them swing with the yaw of the aircraft. There you go! Got me thinking again! Never know what will happen when i start doing that! ;)Now, to get started on my first Heavy Metal; got a 747 I gotta repaint.Cheers y'all!Heather
October 29, 200223 yr Absolutely beautiful. The colors look as if they should be flying in the tropics!
October 29, 200223 yr "I wonder if Bill Morad would make a gauge for me that would make them swing with the yaw of the aircraft."Now that would be way cool!!!I like the fuzzy dice idea too!!
