I have been thru the manual and cannot find how one sets the course for an ILS approach. Is using the FMC the only way ?

Yes - the FMC course setting in the "Radio Nav" page is the only way. It is a piece of cake once you get used to it.

Tried that...every time I try to enter info I get a "not allowed" message.

Quick manual:1. Insert the ILS-freq. into the NAV1 (by the way, everything is done on the previous mentioned RADNAV page)2. Insert the course in the course-line under the NAV1-line3. Insert the ILS-Freq. again into the ILS-line (one below)4. The course should now appear automaticaly in the ILS-course line That should work....Regards, Watsi
