GeForce4 MX Reflections Topic

Featured Replies

I read a topic that fixed the reflections in FS2002 by tweaking the section in the display.cfg. I searched for it already. I can't find it anymore...can anyone link me to that topic or post the line in the display.cfg if you have already performed the fix?

You need to give people a bit of time before you "bump" the thread... Life goes on--people here have jobs, kids, mortgages....I tried searching for the fix when I saw your first post, but something's wrong with the search engine. There's a gap between the archives, which ends on 10/23, and the current posts, which start on 11/10. Everything between seems to be gone.I know the edit involves a change to your display.cfg, but I don't know the actual entry... Give it a few hours...someone will post the info you need...-John

OK, here you go......Add this entry in the display.cfg file under the GeForce2 section to enable the reflections and water effects with the GF4 MX 440 card. Worked great for me!;----------------------------------------------------------------; GeForce2;----------------------------------------------------------------With a series of entries under it like;NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440[000010DE:00000171]DriverValidate2=1* Use square brackets instead of the <> around the entry! Square brackets don't show up in these posts at AVSIM.Scott
