November 11, 200223 yr I'm in the parents' lounge of the pediatric ward at a local hospital right now, and whilst waiting about, as one does, thought I'd clear my email and quickly browse the sites. Access to all no problem, with one exception ... I can't get in to ****htsim.com, because "CyberSitter" detects "mild expletives".Maybe someone is trying to download from their library .....Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontP.S. Sorry, Nels ... all in good fun, but the above is fact!http://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/redsig.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
November 11, 200223 yr Just out of curiosity, did you add the asterisks, or is that due to the filters here?
November 11, 200223 yr Were it to be our filtering system here, it would hashes as in #####. We don't filter out web sites; we do filter out profanity.
November 11, 200223 yr >Were it to be our filtering system here, it would hashes as >in #####. We don't filter out web sites; we do filter out >profanity. I'm glad to hear that. I think that it's silly that someone would do that with the asterisks though. For one thing, the site that was "masked" is obvious anyway. And yes, I know that something similar is done over there by some individuals, but I just find it childish. I'm guessing that a large majority of the members here, and there, visit both of these sites, so what does masking either of the site names accomplish? No offense intended, Dark Moment, just my opinion.
November 11, 200223 yr No offence taken, Edam, but for heaven's sake, where's your sense of humour? Maybe my creating the four asterisks went over your head ..Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontEDIT: just seen your post, Matt. LOL. You're probably not wrong. http://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

I can assure you that I have a sense of humor, Sir. That being said, why don't you explain how those asterisks denoted humor, or how they went over my head? You must admit, there was no indication that they were of a humorous nature, unless there is an inside joke that I am unaware of.
November 12, 200223 yr I don't think Nels is going to lose sleep over this. I'll bet he's thinking more about what this annual inspection on his Archer will cost! :-eekhttp://www.train-sim.com/n8439t/annual/Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F..._FORUM_LOUF.jpg
November 13, 200223 yr No-one likes a good laugh more than me. Except for my wife....... oh, yes, and some of her friends. Come to think of it, everyone likes a good laugh more than me. But that's not the point.
November 13, 200223 yr I wrote the word "danm" (changed to save the sensitive from falling in a dead faint) to a flightsim.com forum and it was hashed out.Would this happen at avsim and if so for goodness sake why? pp
